A cement silo is a metal container in the form of a cylinder in which bulk substances, including cement, lime, sand, grain, etc. are stored.
The silo is installed vertically on supports made of pipes. From below, the cement silo ends with a cone, at the end of which a slide gate is installed. With the help of the cone geometry, the cement in the silo flows by gravity into the slide gate, and from there gets into the auger or cement pump for further distribution.
